KCA is a free public charter school in Cave Junction, Oregon, forged by local teachers, families, teens, and community members. The school opened in 2023 and is sponsored by Three Rivers School District to provide families with an alternative option for high school in the Illinois Valley.

KCA serves students in grades 9-12 with a maximum enrollment of 64. Homemade breakfast and lunch are free for all students and staff, made from scratch with mostly organic, natural and locally sourced ingredients.

Like other public schools, KCA serves all students, including English Language Learners, houseless students, migrant students, students with disabilities, students who have dropped out, students of all genders, and students who are young parents. See our full notice of nondiscrimination here.
