The business and affairs of KCA are managed under the direction of a volunteer board of directors made up of community members and parents and two student representatives.

Upcoming Organizational Board meetings

Board meetings are all ages and open to the public. and occur monthly at 4:30pm on the first Monday (meetings denoted with an * are held on a different date from the first Monday of the month). Board meetings are streamed to our YouTube Channel.

• Regular meeting: 4:30pm Monday January 5, 2026 @ KCA, 139 S. Caves Ave. Cave Junctions. Agenda can be found here.
• Regular meeting: 4:30pm Monday February 2, 2026 @KCA, 139 S. Caves Ave Cave Junction. Agenda will be posted here at least one week before meeting.

Board meetings begin with a Land Acknowledgment, which can be found here.

There is a public comment period at every meeting allowing the public to comment on agenda items. Community members are given 2 minutes to speak, though they are prohibited from sharing complaints about personally identifiable KCA staff members. The role of the Board during the comment period is to listen and carefully consider the comments, not to immediately respond. For those who can not be present at a meeting, comments can be emailed in advance to office@kcahs.org.
